The European Association of Palliative Care holds its congress in Madrid

Palliative care is a discipline of increasing social relevance, but also a broad discipline in which science is completed with human dimensions. The European Association of Palliative Care (EAPC) held its 2017 congress in IFEMA, with nearly 3,000 delegates, doctors, nurses, psychologists and others. The event included the presentation of the Madrid EAPC Charter for volunteering in hospices for Palliative Care, to acknowledge the work of these essential players in the palliative care world.

The event was a great conversation: In addition to six plenary sessions, it included more than 200 parallel sessions and 16 “meetings with experts”. The Researcher 2017 Awards were also presented.
