IFEMA closed 2017, with the best figures of recent years, strongly increasing its rate of growth. Thus, its turnover stood at 118’1 million euros, representing 11’8% more than in 2016 and an increase of 21%, compared to 2015, the reference year for equivalence of biennial fairs. This notable advance in the management of IFEMA is also evident in its operating profits, which stood at 22.2 million, a figure representing an increase of 22.4% over 2016, and 45.5% over 2015 (comparable year). On the other hand, net profit has tripled, to 4’4 million in 2017. Some parameters, which demonstrate the financial solvency of the institution, built on an effective business model, capable of generating the necessary resources to undertake all your future plans. Throughout 2017, 97 fairs, 10 large international congresses and 567 conventions and business events were held, with the total number of 31,051 exhibiting companies reaching a total of 1,080,000 m2 of net exhibition space. The influx of visitors has also been on the rise, reaching over 3 million attendees.

The billing forecast for 2018 has been set at 130.1 million euros, which represents a growth of 23.2% compared to 2016 (comparable even year) and of 10.2%, in relation to 2017. regarding the forecasts of activity, the objectives set by IFEMA for 2018, are to reach the figures of 33,000 exhibiting companies; 3.5 million visitors and 1.2 million net square meters of exhibition.
