The International Convention Center reopens its doors in Mexico

The International Convention Center (ICC) in Los Cabos, Baja California (Mexico) has reopened its doors after being completely remodelled and refurbished. It aims to foment business tourism, one of the region’s key industries. The company in charge of this project was the Mexican firm, Actidea, with participation by IFEMA for strategic and business consulting and as an international operator to help capture events.

With its reopening, ICC aims to achieve a 10% increase in the number of tourists in 2018, that is, approximately 3,300,000 visitors. Baja California Sur thus strengthens its tourism potential and positioning in the international meeting tourism industry, taking advantage of IFEMA’s experience in this field.

IFEMA’s experience in the consulting field and the support it provides to strategy and business model development will be especially important for ICC’s re-launch.
