Fruit Attraction 2018 celebrates its 10th anniversary

The Fruit and Vegetable Sector’s International Trade Fair, Fruit Attraction, organized by IFEMA and FEPEX, will hold a special edition from 23 to 25 October, on the occasion of its 10th anniversary. A total of 1,600 companies and 70,000 professionals from 120 countries will meet together at this venue, covering a total area of 50,000m2, and now one of the world’s top fairs for the horticultural sector.

Fruit Attraction has once again established itself as a fundamental instrument for the internationalization of the sector, with a powerful programme of buyers, the participation of the leading foreign markets, and the creation, for the first time, of a complete area for ​​the southern hemisphere, located in Pavilion 10. On the national side, all Spain’s autonomous communities which produce fruit and vegetables are represented there. Parallel to the offer, a programme of round tables discussions and B2B sessions will be spurring trading relations between the EU countries and the rest of the markets.

Fruit Attraction will also house different exhibition areas, boosting the Organic Centre area, devoted to organic horticultural products; a Smart Agri space, dedicated to new technologies; and a Nuts Centre area, concentrating on nuts. There will also be a spot for demos and showcookings. In short, Fruit Attraction is, once again, set to be the best commercial and business platform within the fruit and vegetable sector.
