The Study in Spain fair travels to Mexico as part of its journey through Latin America

As part of its journey through Latin America, the Feria Estudiar en España (“Study in Spain Fair”) will visit Mexico on November 8th and 9th after previously having stopped in Colombia, Ecuador and Peru. The fair’s aim is to familiarise students with all the academic opportunities available in Spain.

40% of the more than 100,000 foreign students in Spain come from Latin America.

This fair is promoted by SEPIE (the Spanish Education Internationalisation Service), which belongs to the Ministry of Science, Innovation and Universities, and the Spanish Embassy’s Educational Council in Mexico. IFEMA has joined this alliance and is in charge of organising this fair with the support and experience of the 2016 “Mobility Fair: Study and Discover Spain” promoters.

This initiative aims to inform Latin American students about Spain’s potential and that of its universities and higher education institutions, make it the preferred option for Mexican students and establish closer ties with educational institutions in the countries it visits, creating synergies and reaching collaborative agreements. Worth noting is that 40% of the more than 100,000 foreign students studying in Spain every year come from Latin America.
