THE 10TH EDITION OF GAMERGY WILL GIVE AWAY ITS BIGGEST PRIZE TO DATE

From 21 – 23 June, the Feria de Madrid exhibition centre will host the tenth edition of Gamergy, the most important e-Sports festival in Spain, organised with LCP (MEDIAPRO Group) and IFEMA.

It will truly celebrate this anniversary in style, with a historic prize: the value of the prizes will be three times that of the previous edition, in which around 40,000 euros worth of prizes were given out. For its 10th edition, more than 100,000 euros will be distributed among semi-professional competitions and the various activities open to the whole public. The organisation is offering this prize pool with the aim of all those taking part having the chance to win a prize.

These mighty prizes only refer to the rewards related to the semi-professional contests, in which around 30,000 euros will be shared and the gaming activities, such as the new King of the Hill or the Marathon, which will be giving out over 70,000 euros in prizes, thanks to the contribution of brands such as PDP and Xtralife, official partners of the festival.

The total sum of the prizes does not include those that will be distributed in the professional competitions such as Gamergy Masters and Brawl Stars, which, in its first edition, gave away over 15,000 euros to the first four finalist teams.

SUSTAINABLE ENERGIES FOR LAND AND SEA TRANSPORT AT ALTFUELS IBERIA 2019

From 12 – 13 June, the Feria de Madrid exhibition centre will receive the new edition of Altfuels Iberia, which this time will focus on sustainable energies for land and sea transport. Among the programmed activities, Altfuels 2019 will include conferences on new trends and vehicle exhibitions, supply stations, components, engines, etc.

The event seeks to explore and strengthen economic bonds between key decision-making professionals within the sector, fostering high-level commercial relationships with state-of-the-art technology in alternative fuels.

IFEMA’S COMMITMENT TO TOMORROW

As part of its commitment to raise awareness and striving to create a better future, IFEMA and Barrabes.biz, in collaboration with Enisa, have developed the MAÑANA initiative: a meeting place for different stakeholders in Spanish society, companies, associations, universities, civil society… to debate and reflect on the challenges that lie ahead. The first edition will be held from 12 – 14 June in pavilion 14 of the Feria de Madrid exhibition centre.

In this first edition, Mañana will focus on three key areas: sustainable growth, habitability and wellbeing. In this regard, all the activities, presentations, round tables, workshops and exhibitions fall within the UN’s Sustainable Development Goals.

Therefore, the 6,000+ visitors that attend the event will be able to enjoy over 100 activities and around 50 speakers involved in the initiatives aimed at creating a better, more engaging and more human future.

The Mañana event will also focus on the multifunctional use of the Creative Communion Cube, recently presented at IFEMA. A large structure that will be used to offer various scheduled initiatives using 3D technology; the only technological element of the event, since Mañana understands the future from a humanist perspective, rather than a technological perspective.

DIGICOM, THE NEW LEADING EXHIBITION FOR THE GRAPHIC AND VISUAL COMMUNICATION INDUSTRY

IFEMA, in collaboration with The eWorld Team, has organised DIGICOM 2019: the new leading exhibition for professionals in graphic and visual communication. This event, which will be held from 11 – 13 June in pavilion 3 of the Feria de Madrid exhibition centre, will have 60 direct stands, representing over 280 leading sector brands.

Companies such as Digidelta, Poster and panel, Serimarket, Cash and Display, Soluciones Integrales para el Rotulista – among others-, will come together in this trade show to exclusively present their new products in Spain.

DIGICOM EXPO will have three spaces dedicated to dissemination, information and training. On the one hand, the Innovation Theatre stage will offer a live and direct insight into the future of visual communication and the most disruptive technology: Robotics, Holograms, Artificial Intelligence, etc. Furthermore, Digital Print Experience will include conferences aimed at business transformation with web2print technology, 3D printing campaigns, new interior design trends… Lastly, the Lo + Retail area by Grupo GP will present the possibilities in ephemeral and high-impact retail spaces.

SPORT IS PARTY! AND GYM FACTORY ACTIVE! COME TO TOWN, THE UNMISSABLE EVENT FOR SPORTS ENTHUSIASTS

On 8 – 9 June, Madrid will become the sports capital, with the first edition of SPORT IS PARTY! This great Sports Exhibition comes to IFEMA with a fun-sports event in which leisure and culture will be the predominant themes, regardless of the age of visitors.

SPORT IS PARTY! offers a comprehensive programme, with over 120 activities related to 60 different disciplines such as golf, paddle tennis, tennis, rowing, skating, table tennis, athletics, freestyle wrestling, martial arts, etc. It will also offer GYM FACTORY Active!, an exclusive space dedicated to fitness studios and sports centres, with over 50 activities related to more than 20 modalities such as Zumba, CrossFit, TRX, BodyPump, Pilates and Yoga, among others.

An active weekend in which more than 40,000 people will be able to enjoy their favourite sports with this new proposal offered by LEDO Sports & Events, designed to promote and raise awareness about sports and the benefits of healthy lifestyles.

The event will also have a space called GYM FACTORY Active!, dedicated to fitness studios and sports centres.

IFEMA AND DIVERSIFIED CREATE A NEW EXHIBITION CONCEPT WITH THE ORGANIC FOOD AND ECO LIVING IBERIA BRANDS

IFEMA and Diversified Communications launch a new annual international event in Madrid, which is highly relevant for the Iberian Peninsula and the Mediterranean region. The event, which is supported by the Ministry of Agriculture, together with the main organic production regions of Spain, will be structured under the Organic Food Iberia and Eco Living Iberia brands, on 6 and 7 of June 2019.

Organic Food Iberia is the first professional international exhibition dedicated to the organic sector, which aims to promote food and wine industries among the main purchasers of these products in Europe.

As for Eco Living Iberia, this will be the first professional and international exhibition on the Peninsula based on natural, ethical and sustainable living, bringing together producers and distributers of cosmetics, textile and fashion, household items and drugstore products in Europe.

THE PINK FLOYD EXHIBITION, A JOURNEY THROUGH 50 YEARS OF HISTORY

Visitors have until 15 September to visit IFEMA’s Space 5.1, which will receive the wonderful exhibition about the most iconic British rock band of all times: Pink Floyd. An audio-visual journey through 50 years of history, with unique, previously-unseen objects from each stage of the band’s eclectic career, celebrating the band’s place in history as the world’s cultural landscape changed throughout the 1960s and beyond.

The Pink Floyd Exhibition is an immersive audio-visual experience, thanks to the use of the most advanced technology, providing visitors with the chance to delve into the band’s worlds of sound, thanks to the intuitive GuidePORT system and the use of Sennheiser headphones. Sennheiser are sound specialists and the technology partner of the exhibition.

THE BEST REAL ESTATE OPTION IN #SIMA2019

The largest real estate sector trade fair, the International Real Estate Trade Fair in Madrid, begins in IFEMA on 30 May. Around 200 companies will take part in the 21st edition, offering hundreds of thousands of properties for sale.

Registrars, notaries or administrators, among others, will be on hand to offer visitors, personalised advice.

One of the best channels for selling and promoting products, SIMA 2019 offers around 51% of exhibitions focused on sales, followed by salespersons and global consultants, with the aim of offering a wide variety of possibilities and contributing to providing visitors with information in the most diverse way possible, in order to address all the aspects affecting the purchase of a property.  

SIMA focuses on properties in Madrid and the main cities in Spain, without forgetting the most sought-after coastal and inland areas. The public is diverse, from young people seeking to buy their first home, to those wanting to move or purchase a second home.

FEINDEF, A EUROPEAN OPPORTUNITY

Feria de Madrid will host the International Defence and Security Exhibition, FEINDEF, organised by associations from within the sector, AESMIDE and TEDAE, in collaboration with the Ministry of Defence. From 29-31 May, at least 19 international representatives and over 150 companies will attend the exhibition, with the aim of creating a meeting point for companies and users and to discover and seek alliances within the framework of the new European Defence Action Plan.

The International Exhibition will present the latest sector trends, also  including the civil area, where the estimated 6,000 + professional visitors, will be able to analyse the state-of-the-art systems and equipment used by the Armed Forces, the Enforcement Agencies and Emergency services.  

In addition to the conference, FEINDEF will also hold a complete programme of Forums and Conferences with key subjects that are extremely valuable and important in the sector: Innovation, Employment and Women.

ARCHITECTS AND INTERIOR DESIGNERS COME TOGETHER IN THE 2ND EDITION OF ARCHITECT@WORK

The second edition of ARCHITECT@WORK welcomes visitors in pavilion 7 of Feria de Madrid. From 29-30 May, from 13:00 to 20:00, architects, interior designers and the most relevant stakeholders in the construction sector will come together.

The meeting will present over 550 new trends and exhibitions

ARCHITECT@WORK, a space where the latest and most relevant industry trends will be presented, has an added value, which is that, each product  displayed, has been approved by a commission of architects.

The meeting will present over 550 new trends and exhibitions such as the World Architects; the Light Made Materials Exhibition by Materfad; Art by Luisa Álvarez; and various conferences presented by renowned architects attending this second edition. Furthermore, with the aim of promoting the creation of business networks and opportunities, a catering service will be available during the event.
